AECA is a non-profit organization comprised of early childhood professionals and parents who share a common concern about the well-being of young children and their families.
For more than 50 years AECA has worked for quality care and education for the children of Arkansas. In conjunction with its affiliation with the Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA), a 13 state regional organization, our goal is to:
Expand professional growth opportunities
Produce beneficial publications
Support public policy issues for southern children

Notification to Members of a Dues Increase
From the AECA Board
In July, the AECA Board of Directors voted to increase the annual AECA dues from $30 to $35 per year for regular members and from $25 to $30 per year for student members. The dues increase will be effective beginning September 1, 2015. This notification is being provided according to the By-laws of the Association. AECA By-laws: Article IV—Dues
Dues for each class of membership shall be determined by the Executive Board. The membership shall be informed through the local affiliate boards and in the Arkansas Early Childhood Association publication by April 1 for dues alteration effective the following September 1.
